I graduated from the University of Houston in 2007. My major was called Technology leadership and Supervision with an emphasis in Graphics. Basically it was about management in the technology field and the Print industry. Though I had my degree plan completely customized (there were so many petitions to file) to fit with what I wanted to do which was web related technologies. But sadly all the classes were below my skill level. So I am completely self taught.
I personally feel that college is a waste of money. It's entirely too expensive for what you actually get out of it. But I understand that it looks better to employers (and apparently they pay you more) when you have a four year degree of some kind.
I heart design in all its forms. My personal favorites would have to be web and interior design. I've been working with Photoshop and other Adobe software since 2002 and I've been practicing web development since 2003.
I hate to admit it but in high school I listened to what was expected of me, what other people deemed to be cool. It took going to college to see how idiotic that truly was.
It's hard to believe now that I limited my genre selection to hip hop/pop.
These are the bands that are currently stuck on repeat on my iPod. Love 'em! I just can't get enough. I wish I could list every band I absolutely adore but thats an impossible task.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't absolutely love books about Vampires and Vampires in general. That said, I do not like Twilight in book form but I do enjoy the movies. I'm very much into The Vampire Diaries and I'm heartbroken that LJ Smith will no longer be writing them. I do hope they bring her back.
I have yet to read the Sookie Stackhouse novels but its on my list as well as all Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.
I mostly only read fiction and it must be fantastical fiction or it just won't do! Ghost stories are great and anything quirky.
