I Meant To But...
I meant to update sooner but there just isn’t enough hours in the day. So I got the whole worpress theme duplication thing sorted out. She removed it from her site without me having to contact the lawyer so that was good. That saved me loads of time. I do love the rude way in which she did it, she didn’t even take the time to say anything. She never responded to any of the messages I sent her. At least the last girl had the decency to say something. But in the end I just care that it was removed. I’m thinking that it’s going to take me a little longer than planned to put up all the copyright information.

I Love When People Take Credit for My Work!
Once again another random girl has decided to steal my design but this time it comes with a twist! She has made it into a wordpress theme. Now, there are lots of little mini nyokiglitters. Oh what fun! I do love all the comments she received on how great the design is and that its so pretty. How wonderful for her.
Her “template” was posted on the wordpress themes page but I’ve already contacted Wordpress and they’ve already suspended the design so that’s one problem solved. However she is still giving out the design on her site. I’ve contacted her but of course she hasn’t responded. I’ll give it another day.
Do you know that it took me months to create this design. MONTHS!!! Desaturating the wood was a 30 minute decision alone!
I checked out her domain information. She’s such a brave person. She has chosen a fake name. All she lists is Dodo as her name. I’m 99% sure you’re not suppose to make things up on your whois information. It doesn’t matter. I can still find her.
So in order to better protect my current and potentially future designs/code for this site, I will be adding the copyright information from the U.S. Copyright Office later this month. Hopefully, creating a page that lists out this information and showing that I am very serious about pressing charges will help people get the message. I’m seriously tired of this happening. It ends now.

I Didn't Die...
I’ve just been super duper busy. I’ve been doing almost a whole year of just straight texturing and I really think my brush control has improved. All the enhancing and cutouts for the new background is done with a brush. So since the vast majority of girls are currently mad crazy in love with Robert Pattinson, I thought he’d be a great subject. I use to be really bad at enhancing photos but I’m getting better. I love how the eyes came out…they dazzle. Yay.

The Mojave Experiment
I finally got around to checking out The Mojave Experiment. The experiment used people who have NEVER used Windows Vista before. They don't mention on the site how long these people were allowed to use the operating system or whether or not they were allowed to use it by themselves.
That being said, I find it hard to believe that these people got an honest view of Vista. I think it takes real use to really judge an operating system. I didn't just wake up on day and say, "Oh! I think I'll go out and spend over 2k on a Mac". I actually spent time using Mac OS X on a daily basis. It wasn't perfect but it came close.
On the site there is a link that says "Consider the facts" which lists that:
89%* of existing Windows Vista users expressed satisfaction with it.
* Includes very (43%) and somewhat (46%) satisfied.
I'm guessing this means that the survey people filled out only had very satisfied, somewhat satisfied and not satisfied as options. A good survey would have "satisfied" as an option. By not having it it forces people are would normally just be satisfied to say very satisfied. Its the same thing that's wrong with rating movies on Netflix. They make it so you can either like the movie or dislike the movie and never be neutral towards it.
My point is this, they made a crappy attempt to make it look like a high number of people are satisfied with Vista and would want to use it. On the plus side, the new ad with Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates is really cute.

Without Power
At the moment I don’t have electricity due to the hurricane Ike. Luckily I have water. Some people are still without both water and electricity. I sympathize with them. I think that it will be back by this week or at least I hope so. Its really when you lose power that you realize just how many things you have that requires electricity.
On the up side, I was finally able to finish Artemus Fowl. Many people told me that I would love this more than Harry Potter but I so didn’t. Perhaps, like Harry Potter, the books just get better with each adventure. I think that I will finish reading the series and then compare. But when I think about Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and compare it to Artemus Fowl, I’d still say that Book 1 of Harry Potter is better than book 1 of Artemus Fowl.
