Mootools In Place Editor

I’ve been playing with mootools a great deal lately and I’m having so much fun with it. Is that dorky?

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to create an in place editor of my very own for a while now and I finally got around to it.

The only problems I had was creating buttons. I used it to create buttons to save and cancel changes in the editor. It worked fine in everything except IE6 and IE7. In IE instead of creating buttons it made text boxes and I don’t know why. Instead of crying about it, I opted to make the cancel and save options links instead. That made life easier. I wonder if that counts as a bug…?

I love what you’ve done!

This is great. Awesome work.

As far as the bug you’ve mentioned, are you saying that you were using Photoshop Elements to create a GIF or JPG and that the resulting image file would then not display?

Keep up the great work!

Thanks!!

No I mean just a plain old html button. Instead of IE6 and 7 showing the output result for input type=”button” it showed input type=”text” instead.
